Is your kitchen a battle ground in the morning, are you sipping at a cup of coffee when he comes down and he asks where’s mine? Without thinking you snap back you know where the kettle is and that is the mood set for the rest of the day.  Hostilities have started with the first sentence.

Now just imagine if you did the unthinkable and made him a cup of coffee when you heard him coming down, so when he asks where’s mine you pass it to him, it would have taken you no longer than a minute to make the coffee and straight away you have started the day as friends and not enemies, this is a very small step but one that can make a big difference.
