A wife can have a career as long as she puts her marriage first.

We live in a new modern world that has a lot more financial pressures and many wives have to work to support the family income.  Once you are married, you can still enjoy a career as long as you remember that your marriage and your husband’s wishes must come first.

Working is an issue that should be discussed before marriage if you are devoted to your career being a housewife may not be right for you, the main thing is to discuss this before you are married, there are many options available now to assist women to carry on with their career.

It is not uncommon for the wife to be the chief earner where and it would make financial sense for the husband to stay at home and the wife to go out to work,  this is acceptable as long as your husband is happy with this arrangement.   If your husband is not comfortable to be a stay a home husband, then you will have to accept his wishes even if it does mean a drop in the family income money does not buy you happiness.

If you do work, you must remember as soon as you return home from work that you are a wife and must behave accordingly, leave work at the front door, do not allow to interfere with your family life.  Your husband may be the one who cooks and cleans, but you will still have to obey his word and show him the respect that he deserves.
